Fire Strategy Reports

In-depth fire safety strategies for complex or new buildings.

What is a Fire Strategy Report?

A fire strategy report sets out how a building achieves fire safety as a whole system: means of escape, compartmentation, fire service access, and how the design meets Building Regulations.

You’ll typically need one for a new build, a major refurbishment, a building control or planning submission, or where a building is complex enough that a standard fire risk assessment can’t answer the design questions.

Every report is produced personally by Ray Amoah — ABBE Level 4 qualified, DipFRA, MIFSM, FPA member, with specialist expertise in external wall fire risk appraisal (PAS 9980). You deal directly with your assessor, not a call centre.

Sectors We Produce Fire Strategy Reports For

Bespoke fire strategies for buildings where a standard assessment isn’t enough.

Hospitals & Healthcare Buildings

Healthcare buildings carry the most demanding fire strategy requirements of any sector: progressive horizontal evacuation, dependent occupants who cannot self-evacuate, and continuity of clinical care during an incident. A hospital fire strategy has to reconcile the building’s compartmentation with the realistic movement of patients who may be bed-bound or on life support.

Residential Blocks & High-Rise

Residential fire strategy reports address stay-put versus simultaneous evacuation, compartmentation adequacy, and — for buildings with cladding or complex external wall build-ups — external wall fire risk appraisal to PAS 9980.

Schools & Education

School fire strategies must account for large occupant numbers moving in supervised groups, out-of-hours community use of the premises, and phased building stock where extensions have been added over decades.

Warehouses & Industrial

Industrial fire strategy reports deal with long travel distances, high-bay storage, process fire risk, and the fire service access and water supply provisions that Building Regulations require for large-footprint buildings.

Pricing & Turnaround

Price: Tailored to scope.

Turnaround: Usually 3–5 working days.

Every fire strategy report is quoted individually against the building and the submission it needs to support. No obligation, and a clear fixed fee before any work begins.
