Not necessarily. However, you must ensure that the assessment remains valid and keep it under review. If any internal changes are made to the premises, the assessment must be updated. We offer an annual reminder to our clients to help determine if an updated assessment is required.

What Are the Consequences of Not Complying with Fire Safety Regulations?2026-10-22T16:10:00+00:00

Non-compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 can lead to:

  • enforcement or prohibition notices from the fire and rescue service;
  • an unlimited fine;
  • for the most serious offences, up to two years’ imprisonment.
