Annual Reviews

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO) it is required that a fire risk assessment be regularly review and keep it up to date. A fire risk assessment report will be invalid if:

  • There have been structural changes, or perhaps new installations made to the area/s under your control.
  • You have had a fire or near miss recently.
  • Findings from a fire evacuation drill identify the need for a change.

It is good practice to fully review a Fire Risk Assessment every year if this has not needed to be done in the interim.
